Meet the KAMfit Team
Founder + Head Coach
Hi friend! I’m so glad you’re here, let me introduce myself:
I’m currently 24 and living in Austin, Texas but I grew up in a very small town in Amish country, Pennsylvania. I’ve been an athlete since age 5 and have always understood how powerful exercise is as a stress outlet (shoutout to my dad’s basement gym.) Soccer and track were my main sports, specifically pole vaulting!
My family moved from Pennsylvania to Florida when I was 16, and a few years later at the age of 19 I experienced a traumatic event that led to a significant loss of weight and confidence. At this time I weighed 105lbs and was extremely weak. I didn’t realize this was a result of my poor lifestyle and mental state until my loved ones started to point it out.
This was when I started to lean into my fitness journey and let the impact ripple into all areas of my life – career, relationships, mindset, lifestyle, etc. I fell in love with feeling strong and empowered and knew I wanted to share this feeling with as many women as possible.
I became a certified trainer, began training others in a gym, and launched my online training business: KAMfit Training in 2019.
I’m passionate about training and teaching others about health and fitness because I’ve been on both sides, I know first hand how powerful the transformation is. Becoming stronger leads to confidence, empowerment, discipline, and perseverance – and not to mention a rockin’ body.
I am so grateful for every single one of the hundreds of women who have trusted me on their journey over the past few years. They have grown and achieved SO much, and I want you to know that if anyone else can do it, so can you.

Coach + Certified Athletic Trainer
Growing up as a tomboy, all I ever wanted to do was go outside, play sports and be as active as possible. I played soccer, ran track in high school, and tumbled in gymnastics as a hobby. I loved being able to move my body, the way it felt flipping through the air or running in a race. Anything that made my body feel free and light, I enjoyed the most. The high of an active lifestyle is what I continue to strive for today.
I was born and raised in Northern Jersey. If anyone reading this wants to have the debate, it is called Taylor Ham not Pork Roll. And no, I cannot pump my own gas lol!
At a young age, i experienced a loss that was difficult to cope with and eventually led to my silent battle with anxiety and depression, anorexia and night time binge eating. I went to college and the extreme partying and weight gain from alcohol took over. I was in a constant battle with my depression that eventually led me to transferring to a school back home. I learned how to strength train because I felt mentally and physically weak, constantly fatigued and overwhelmed by anxiety and depression. Strength training gave me the opportunity to release any worries, doubts, and insecurities, but the journey was never perfect. Before meeting Kari, I was in a constant state of “starting over.” When things in life were tough, I hid behind my bad habits and destructive behavior. Working 1:1 with Kari helped me find my passion for an active lifestyle again.
This journey has brought me back to my passion of helping others overcome mental and physical barriers. I found confidence in the strength I gained, discipline through the mindset shifts and I am now at a place in my journey where I can share my struggles and wins without insecurity. I am so incredibly thankful for everything I have been through that led me up until this point. I am even more grateful to have the opportunity to help other women find and become the best version of themselves through a healthy mind and body, active lifestyle.
